Positive: Carthage is perfectly situated halfway between Central Arkansas and the Port of Galveston for those driving in for cruise ships. This hotel has great rates (a fraction of what we would have paid had we driven straight into the Houston or Galveston area). It also has a very consistent, quality brand. We were pleased with the size of the room, furnishings, and the pillows. My husband had a neck injury many years ago. It is hard for him to sleep sometimes. He was comfortable, which made me relax and sleep well.

Negative: Google maps had us drive a bit out of our way to get there. The route forces a U-turn from rhe North approach, just a minor inconvenience of civil engineering.
